  • FIELD ENGINEER

    The field engineer works for and with the foremen as directed by the superintendent.  Plans and schedules project prior to start with the project manager and superintendent.  Helps project manager and superintendent to update the schedule.  Lays out job including keeping all surveying notes necessary and logging any changes on the AS BUILTS.  Keeps the job AS BUILT information up to date on a daily or weekly basis.  Logs in all materials received.  Reviews all submittals sent to the job so as to understand the equipment and make sure the foreman have the necessary information to install the equipment.  Focuses on timely completion by working with the crews to insure that they have the materials needed, coordinating with subs, and checking with PM on materials.

     

  • ESTIMATOR, PLANT DIVISION

    Finds jobs advertised, gets information about jobs, order plans. Provides the volume of plant work required in the budget at acceptable profit margins.  Bids projects selected by the Senior Estimator using input of CM, PM and Supt of the plant project. Helps select jobs to bid – analyzing plans/specs, job requirements for manpower/equipment methods of construction/time limits.  Performs Pre-bid Investigations – Site/Labor/Sun Items. Is responsible for precise take off quantities, obtaining competitive quality quotations, pricing the units correctly, using computer and other technological innovations, and completing quality estimates in a timely fashion incorporating good judgment, and quality inputs.  Prepares Bid Documents – Orders Bonds.  Turns in Bids. Follows sound estimating and business practices.  Clarifies Plan & Spec Discrepancies with engineer.  Codes awarded jobs for accounting.  Passes on all information to PM’s & field supervision.

     

  • PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT

Experienced in leading crews building industrial concrete structures, setting process equipment & piping and general civil site work. Ability to read blueprints, enforce safety requirements, and push for on-budget / on-schedule production. Possible salaried position with opportunity for advancement.

  • PROJECT FOREMAN

Experienced in leading crews building industrial concrete structures, setting process equipment & piping and general civil site work. Ability to read blueprints, enforce safety requirements, and push for on-budget / on-schedule production. Possible salaried position with opportunity for advancement.

  • CRANE OPERATOR

Experience (minimum 5 years) with crawler, friction drum cranes. Setting gang form panels, reinforcement steel, swinging concrete buckets, vib. hammer sheet piling, etc. Daily maintenance, machine inspections & logs, plus rigging planning.

  • EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Experience in operating rubber tired backhoes, track excavators, rubber tired loaders, track dozers, rough terrain hydraulic cranes, etc.
