This Design Build project included construction of a new 2-story, Bio-solids Dewatering Building approximately 40' X 40' with masonry walls and hollow core precast roof deck.  Equipment installed included an Andritz centrifuge, a polymer system, sludge pumps & piping, fine bubble aeration in existing basin, a new NPW system with 2 - 6" 300 GPM pumps.  Project included electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, paving and site work.  The project team's winning proposal included offering an innovative approach to revise the existing anaerobic process to an aerobic process which eliminated  equipment and greatly enhanced the operation of the plant.  This innovation will save nearly $500,000 over 20 years in operation and maintenance expenses.
